Tá páirtchreidiúint ar fáil den chéad uair i mbliana do dhaoine gur mhaith leo an scrúdú cainte amháin a dhéanamh. Mar sin, beidh dhá rogha ag iarrthóirí 2013:
· Scrúdú iomlán TEG a dhéanamh in Aibreán/Bealtaine agus creidiúint iomlán a fháil;

· An scrúdú cainte amháin a dhéanamh in Aibreán/Bealtaine agus páirtchreidiúint a fháil.
Beidh foireann TEG sásta scrúduithe cainte a reáchtáil ag amanna eile i rith na bliana do ghrúpaí in ionaid ar fud na tíre. Cuir glaoch ar (01) 708 6417.
Rectangular Callout: As a learner of Irish in Canada, I find that opportunities to speak with fluent speakers can be very limited and it is always difficult to gauge my level of progress in speaking. The TEG oral exam provides you with a structured set of activities that are realistic and fun. It also provides you with critical feedback. I was the over the moon with my result. I am now very motivated to continue working on my Irish language skills so that I am ready to do A2 next summer.

Rectangular Callout: Tá Teastas Eorpach na Gaeilge ar bun againn i gColáiste Íosagáin le daltaí na hIdirbhliana le trí bliana anuas. Thosaíomar ar an scrúdú le sprioc chinnte a thabhairt do na daltaí ag deireadh na bliana agus toisc go bhfuil béaltriail sheachtrach mar chuid den mheasúnú. Ó tharla go bhfuil 40% de na marcanna san Ardteist ar an mbéaltriail anois, is deis iontach é do na daltaí díriú isteach ar an gcaint, chomh maith le forbairt a dhéanamh ar na scileanna eile teanga: léamhthuiscint, scríobh, agus cluastuiscint.

*TEG Level B2 satisfies the Irish language entry requirement for courses in primary school teaching in the Colleges of Education and Hibernia College.

Partial certification is available this year for the first time for learners of Irish who want to work on their oral competence only.
In 2013 exam candidates will have two options:
· Take the full TEG exam in April/May 2013 and get full certification;
OR
· Take the oral exam only in April/May and get partial certification.
The TEG team will be happy to arrange oral exams for groups at other times of the year in centres throughout the country. Call (01) 708 6417 for more information.

Teachers! Would you like to give your senior cycle students the option of taking a TEG exam? Full or partial examination options available.
Rectangular Callout: We have been following the TEG syllabuses and taking the TEG exams with our transition year groups in Coláiste Íosagáin for the last three years. We chose the TEG system for our students as a means of giving them a clear objective at the end of the school year and to give them experience of an oral exam. As the oral part of the Leaving Cert Irish exam is now worth 40% this is a fantastic opportunity for students to focus on their speaking skills and also to develop their skills in other areas: reading, writing, and listening comprehension.
