I'm not sure who there is on the forum from the SF Bay Area besides Redwolf and me, but if there is anyone else interested in classes for those at the advanced intermediate level, there will be a set of 10, twice-monthly, 2-hour classes starting next Monday, to be held in Millbrae. Nikki Ragsdale is helping to organize them. If anyone is interested, let me know, either here or by private message, and I can put you in touch with Nikki if you don't already know her from the annual Irish immersion weekends.

I haven't heard from Nikki on these yet...do you know what time they're supposed to be? I'm afraid that Millbrae is a bit of a step for me on a Monday evening...I'd be close to two hours getting there and another two getting back. :(

The classes will be 7:30-9:30 on the second and fourth Mondays of the month (the first class being on March 11th) in the back room at The Fiddler's Green Restaurant & Pub at 333 El Camino in Millbrae. The classes are being sponsored by Comhaltas Ceolteóirí Éireann, and the teacher will be Lavinia Uí Fhiannachta, who has taught Irish in Galway and here in the US, in high school and at the adult education level (I'm reading all of this off of the flyer which Nikki sent me). The cost will be $150-300 per person, depending on how many people enroll. I think there are 8 people thus far, including me, and the flyer says that there will be a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 10.

I've altered the subject heading and my first message to clarify that the level is "advanced intermediate". I misstated it before.
