grá féin--does it translate to "love yourself"/"self love"?

That's grammatically correct alright, but I'd rather get a kick in the shins than get a tattoo like that.

Maybe I'm just not understanding what this is about, but all of these pronouncements of "self-love" sound kinda ridiculous to me.
