I asked these questions on another forum and they suggested coming here for verification since this will be engraved.

I wanted to verify that Forever In My Heart in Irish would be: i mo chroí go brách (pron: i ma Kree guh braw ?)

Also, if I wanted to write a child's name followed by my little darling, I would write: Colleen, a stóirín ?

I appreciate any input. Also, the pronunciation of a stóirín = uh shtor-een or us stor-een?

Both are fine.

Regarding pronuciation in the first phrase, "chroí" begins and "brách" ends with the same sound...a gutteral "kh" sound not found in English. It's similar to the final sounds in the German "Bach." If you start to say a "k" sound, but don't close your throat all the way, allowing some air to escape, you'll be in the ballpark.

"Stóirín" is pronounced "STOHR-een." The only way it could begin with an "sh" sound would be if the "st" were follwed by an i or e (also known as "slender" vowels).
