I was just wondering if anyone could tell me some Irish legends? I don't have anything real specific that I'm looking for. I'm just curious about some legends from Ireland.

Thanks :)

The other source I suggest is the Sacred Texts website
http://www.sacred-texts.com/neu/celt/index.htm#ireland
(it's a pity that for example, Myths and Folklore of Ireland which was compiled and collected by Jeremiah Curtin isn't in the original Irish)

Táin Bó Cúailgne is a must-read if you're interested in Irish legends. There's a lot of different versions online, but the best translation in by Thomas Kinsella http://www.amazon.com/The-Tain-Thomas-K ... 0192803735

If you're looking at the Sacred Texts website, I'd recommend starting with Lady Gregory's books. They will give you a good overview of all the most famous stories.
