When I was in France, I noticed that many of the public (outdoor) toilets consisted of a hole in the ground whereas the 'disabled' ones actually consisted of a toilet bowl! ...often minus a seat or safety rail for disabled people for that matter. Still, I can't complain, the
very few outdoor public toilets in Ireland often leave much to be desired.
