Hi everyone!

I'm new to the forums here, and I wanted to first say thanks to everyone who contributes translations! It's very kind of you to take the time to help us newbies :D

I was hoping to get a translation for "It's an infinite world, and I want you." I'm putting together an 1st anniversary gift for my husband, and this is a lyric from a song we danced to at our wedding.

Thanks in advance to anyone who helps me out! I really appreciate it!

Diane

I would suggest:
Gan teorainn atá an saol agus is tú mo mhian.

I like it, but I'd use the emphatic form of tú: Gan teorainn atá an saol agus is tusa mo mhian.

Dá mbíodh an domhan go dtí an ghrian ann, ba tú fós mo mhian ann.

If the world were to be so big as to fill the space between here and the sun, I would still desire you.

These both look good and are close to the meaning of the original.

This is a very nice expression but a bit further from the original in meaning.
