Hi all,
Just wondering if I can have the Galeic translations for these three words:
Loved. Lost. Learned.
I take it you mean this as ‘I (have) loved; I (have) lost; I (have) learned (from it)’?
There won’t be a simple, three-word way of saying this in Irish, unfortunately—it’ll be longer.
Thug mé grá. Chaill mé (é/í). D’fhoghlaim mé (as)‘I loved. I lost (him/her). I learned (from it)’
The ‘him/her’ bit isn’t technically necessary, but without it, it sounds like you’re saying you lost a game, rather than that you lost someone.
