As part of Sult na Sollán, two Irish traditional groups came to the fore - Sult agus Fonn Nua. There are monthly trad sessions in Sallins, usually on a Friday night. We also run family events from time to time.
Sult na Sollán run 10 week long Irish language courses for adults in Sallins with an emphasis on conversation and developing confidence to use the language. There are two terms - January to the end of March and again between September to the end of November. The classes are held in St. Laurences National school, Sallins between 8 - 9pm. Class sizes are limited to ten students.
For Irish speakers only, we have a ciorcal chomhrá every week i Nás na Ríogh (Naas) in Alice's Restauraunt, each Saturday at 11.00am."
