Words that sound cool!

Tháinig mé ar 'amscaí' le déanaí agus is aoibhinn liom é! 'amscaí' = awkward. Bhí sé an-amscaí é a chur le chéile = It was very awkward to put together.

Does anyone have other words where they particularly like the sound of the word? And before Lughaidh says it, I know that all Ulster Irish sounds beautiful!!! 8-)

Strumpaí - cold to the bone (Conamara Irish)

I've always liked the Connacht way of saying "scioptha" (not sure if it's spelled differently as well, as I've never seen it written..."sciopthaí," maybe?), as it sounds a little like "skippy"!

Sciopthaí is Conamara for ''fast/quick''

Gionsaí is a Mayo word for ''almost''.
