What is the best way to say "anymore" as in "I don't live there anymore" or "I don't drink anymore"?

I've come up with three versions, níos mó, feasta and a thuilleadh but I can't work out if there is any difference in how they are used.

I think they are interchangeable but I seem to remember something about a thuilleadh being the most common, or standard, way of saying anymore and that the others, níos mó and feasta, were dialectical. I don't know how true that is though.

Everything is dialectal in Modern Irish anyway (except maybe the standard things that don't exist in any Gaeltacht...)
Feasta means "from now on".
Níos mó and a thuilleadh mean more or less the same thing as far as I know. I'd say "níos mó" is more common... but maybe i have that impression because níos mó is the most common in Ulster :)

Yeah it's like, "I'm not going to drink any more....and I'm not going to drink any less either." :LOL:

It is recommended that you always wait for three to agree on a translation.
I speak Connemara Irish, and my input will often reflect that.
I will do an mp3 file on request for short translations.

I think níos mó is probably more prevalent, being used in Ulster and Connacht. (a thuilleadh is more of a Munster idiom, so no surprise there, Gumbi. ;) )

My "specialty" is Connemara Irish, particularly Cois Fhairrge dialect, but I can also speak Ulster and Munster Irish with native-level pronunciation.

Gaeilge Chonnacht (GC), go háraid Gaeilge Chois Fhairrge (GCF), Gaeilic Uladh (GU), Gaelainn na Mumhan (GM), agus Gaeilge an Chaighdeáin Oifigiúil (CO).

:yes: , though you can also say níos mó, but a thuilleadh is more popular!
