A local shop owner has asked for some help in translating a few phrases for cards. I have seen lots of Irish language cards and products and sometimes with quite awful mistakes on them. Same in English too so probably the same in every language.

Anyway, as well as a few questions I have asked in other threads, I am wondering if anyone has phrases equivalent to things like 'bouncing baby boy' etc. I am not looking for a translations of English phrases, but rather phrases that might be used in Irish for such occasions.

I have the stock list, but am now looking for the 'bouncing baby' types.

Grma roimhré.

Saoirse.
