Im interested in getting a half sleeve tattoo and want to incorporate a tasteful way of showing my pride of being Irish. Im thinking of getting my favourite lyric from a bob dylan song translated to irish and this might be a good way to do this.

the lyric is: " He not busy being born is busy dying"

Any help with this would greatly appreciated and deserving of a pint if around melbourne sometime.

It's not that easy, Dylan's lyrics are very idiomatic, idiosyncratic, and sometimes downright idiotic.
But here goes...

An té nach bhfuil crochta lena bhreith, tá sé crochta lena bhás.
He who is not busy with his birth, he is busy with his death.

Someone else may come up with something less tacky.

Perhaps also a suggestion like:

An té nach bhfuil ag teacht ar an saol, ag imeacht uaidh atá.
