A cairde:

As I mentioned I signed the "Liofa 2015" pledge, but with my own modifications. I
desire to be "smoothly conversant/conversational" by 2015. For me this means having
a broad enough stórfocail and conversational practice to converse with ease. I can't hope to be Liofa
without living in a community and immersing like say Lughaidh. How do I say "conversing
with ease" or "conversational" "smoothly coversant/conversational" in Irish.

Sorry to ask for two translations in one day. I am however willing to pay the usual $200-$300 euro
for the translation of the correct phrase.

Le meas, agus ag obair an chéim a fháil, :prof:
Féabar

:nail:

Beidh an Ghaeilge ar mo thoil agam.
Literally: 'I will have Irish at my will'.

It's hard to come up with an idiom that doesn't just say líofa in another way.

Beidh cumas comhrá ionam.
Literally: 'The ability to converse will be in me'.

Beidh acmhainn comhrá cumasach agam.
I will have an effective/able capacity for conversation.

Perhaps réidh (smooth/easy, but other meanings too) could be swapped for cumasach.

Note to others - I considered putting the word cumasach in the genitive but decided that achmhainn comhrá was a unit much like the difference between fear an tí mhóir and fear an tí mór where the first mór refers to the house and the second one refers to the man.

Wouldn't it be gas if that was someone's first impression of the site!

Better than the offer we got yesterday.
It wouldn't pay for a Big Mac.

It is recommended that you always wait for three to agree on a translation.
I speak Connemara Irish, and my input will often reflect that.
I will do an mp3 file on request for short translations.
