I was doing a focused listening exercise with this episode of Comhrá and there are a few sequences that I am having a problem with. I was hoping that someone might be willing to give me a helping hand. It's less than 60 seconds of the first part of the episode.

It's possible that you are not hearing what you expect to hear Robert.

In Conamara we say "roo-hib" not "romhaibh", and "acub" not "acu",
"gona" not "dona" etc.
"É" is rarely pronounced the way it's written, except for emphasis, or when the word stands on it's own. It said as "ah". So that is a word that's easy to miss.

I was aware of the pronunciation of the prepositional pronouns but I was not familiar with "ar dhuine gona" but since you have pointed it out to me on Sunday I've run across it 3 times watching other videos. And the pronunciation of é was not something I had noticed before, either. All-in-all this has been an especially productive exercise!
