I'm looking for help translating and understanding the following sentences. Please provide both literal and figurative translations as it makes it easier to understand how the sentence is constructed.

4A) bhí a lá féin aige
4B) áit ann féin é - "a very special place" perhaps? Can you say "áit féin é" to mean "a special place"?

5A) ó tá tú agam - "oh, i have you"
5B) bhí leis - "he had it"
5C) tá leis anois - "he has it now (he has the hang of it)"
5D) sin agat anois í

6) é a dhéanamh le duine

7) is maith atá a fhios agam é

Yes, means a very special place

Can you say "áit féin é" to mean "a special place"?
No.

5A) ó tá tú agam -
"oh, i have you"

5B) bhí leis -
LIT it was going his way.

5C) tá leis anois -
LIT It is going his way now.
"he has it now (he has the hang of it)"

5D) sin agat anois í
LIT There you have it/her now.


6) é a dhéanamh le duine
LIT to do it with somebody or to do it to somebody
It depends on the context and what is being done.

7) is maith atá a fhios agam é
Don't I know it well.
