Hottest day of the year forecast for tomorrow. 25 degrees. Now, that'll get all you folk across the Atlantic scrambling for websites or calculators to figure out, what's that in Fahreinheit! Is it really hot or is it hot in Irish terms, in other words, 'warm'?

I think it was 28C in Conamara today. I walked to the shop and the sweat was pouring off me.

It's been averaging about that here as well, lately. As we get further into summer, we'll start seeing 90-100 up here in the mountains.

I remember how hot it was when I was there last summer (has it really been almost a year already?)! It's not just the heat; it's that buildings aren't constructed for it. Thought we were going to die in that upstairs room at Oideas Gael!
