I've just had someone tell me that one uses "Cad" (without a pronoun) in Munster where one would use 'Cad é' in Ulster. For example "Cad ba mhaith leat" instead of "Cad é ba mhaith leat." Is that correct?

Cad ba mhaith leat? – What would you like?
Cad tá ort? – What's wrong with you?
Cad tá uait? – What do you want?

But when an is there:
Cad é an t-aos tú? – How old are you?
Cad é an t-am é? – What time is it?
Cad é an ceantar gurb as tú? – What is the district that you are from?
