I'm looking for some books with good pronucation references so I can expand my ability to acutally speak words. I feel if I don't start early I'll end up just being able to read Irish without any knowledge of the words acutally sound like.

I would recommend Buntús Cainte, particularly if you are in the early stages of learning. The first book comprises 60 lessons of conversationial Irish, and comes with 2 CD's, spoken by native Irish speakers. Each lesson introduces new words, and the CD's follow the lessons. I don't know how many books there are altogether in the full course - at least 2, but there may be more.

This book is based solely on conversation - no grammar explanations - and so I would recommend using the course alongside something else. Perhaps Teach Yourself Irish?

There is a course on Memrise that follows the book too, in which you write the words and phrases given, rather than simply listening and reading. Depends on how self-disciplined you are. I always intend to write the exercises when I'm using the book, but don't always, so working through it on Memrise helps in that respect.

One other aid to listening and speaking that I found very helpful is the series 'Look Who's Talking', available on YouTube.

Everyone has their own preferences, but check out those two, I think you might find them very useful.
