i need sorta a help understanding the structure use of "da mbeidís" agus "muna mbeinn" also i havent been able to get all whats in sentences..if also anyone can do phonetics for conditional verb endings...tá mé ag fhoghlaim i mBéal feirste. GRMA

Gheallfadh sé post duit dá mbeadh ceann ar fáil. = He'd promise you a job if one would be available.

post = post, job
pósta = married (pós = marry)

dá mbeidís = if they were
dá mbeinn = if I were
muna mbeinn = if I weren't

Part of the trouble you're having may have to do with the fact that the conditional and subjunctive are disappearing in English, at least in some contexts, so people now say expressions like these differently from the way they used to say them. In the past, the English versions would be more like this:

Rithfeadh Caolán ar scoil dá gcailfeadh sé an bus.
Caolán would run to school if he were to miss the bus.

Chaillfinn an cluiche muna mbeinn ábalta rith.
I would lose the game if I weren't able to run.

Phógfadh Dónall an cailín dá mbeadh an mhuinín aige.
Dónall would kiss the girl if he had the confidence.
The word "had" here was originally different from the past tense form "had", with a different internal vowel sound, but the difference disappeared over time. The difference survives in modern German:

Er hatte ein Buch
He had a book

Hätte er ein Buch [the umlaut over the "a" indicates the vowel sound change]
If he had a book [or, in what is now old-fashioned English: "Had he a book"]

Editing to add a further note: The "were" in the first two examples above (as in "if he were ...") was also originally a different form of the verb from the past tense form "were" (as in "we were there"), with the two forms having different vowel sounds, but merging over time, just as was the case with the forms behind the different uses of "had". The different verb forms are also still preserved in German (war and wäre).
