Excuse my igorance friends...I'm not sure exactly what dialect I should request. This was written in a card I found in papers that once where my grandparents. They came from County Sligo. Thank you for any help you may be able to give me.

No need to specify a dialect going from Irish into English, though I suppose you could.

Correcting the orthography:

Pós bean ón sliabh agus pósfaidh tú an sliabh

This means "Marry a woman from the mountain and you will marry the mountain."

My "specialty" is Connemara Irish, particularly Cois Fhairrge dialect, but I can also speak Ulster and Munster Irish with native-level pronunciation.

(aniar - is in reference to Ceantar na nOileáin)
