N' fheadair can be used for I wonder, it all depends on the tone of someone's voice. Ní mé is totally new for me

'ó ghlúin go glúin' is another nice phrase. It means 'from generation to generation'.
I have heard that 'glúin' also meaning 'knee' is not merely a coincidence - the idea of a child sitting on a parent's knee being intergenerational. I don't know if that connection is true, but it makes sense.
I am not sure, doubt it though. In the story of Adam of Eve did we come from God's knee??? I know there was something to do with making a person from a body part? I' m not sure- N' fheadair

.
I believe God made Eve from Adam's rib.
