To me "Tá tú i bhfad uaim" means "you're far from me" (but it may be a dialectal thing)

I miss you = is fada liom uaim thú
or: crónaim thú

Well I know is fada liom uaim thú is correct because I have heard is fada liom uaim í in a Donegal song.

Crónaim thú is a Munster way of saying it, I believe.

I think another Connemara way is airím uaim thú.

I'd go with Lughaidh's:

A mhama, is fada liom uaim thú

Pending further confirmation, of course.

Yes, it does. In fact, at this week's DSG, Ray Mac Manais actually said something along the lines of "In the north we say "Crónaim thú."

A mhamaí, tá cumha orm i do dhiaidh.

Actually, I wouldn't say crónaim is said anywhere in Ireland.

Well, Ray apparently says it, and hears it said, up north.
