Although not an exact translation, the saying níl dul ón mbás is probably the nearest equivalent to Latin 'memento mori' in terms of brevity, familiarity, and impersonality (the Latin doesn't have 'you' in it, let alone 'all of us'.)

Literally it translates as "there is no avoiding Death."

:clap: Thank you everbody for all your input. :ta: Even though you've made it more difficult because I really like the brief "níl dul ón mbás." ("there is no avoiding Death.") But I also like the "Cuimnigh go bhfuil bás i ndán dúinn uilig" ("Remember we all must die.") :rolleyes: Decisions....
