You have some spelling mistakes. But the main things seems to be that you are confusing Irish and Scottish Gaelic.
In Irish the accents are in this direction - áéíóú - always,
whereas in Scottish Gaelic they are in the opposite direction.

We don't have haggis in Ireland either. But we have black puddings.

The accents, I simply screwed up on. I had my MS Word set up so both the apostrophe and the button to the left of the 1 key did them the right way, but it seems to have changed on it's own. I mentioned haggis and my kilt simply to give my professor, who is from Cork, a hard time (My great-grandmother was an Ulster Scot from Ballysillian in Antrim). I can't find Irish words for either in any source available to me. I started using the Scottish form of my name in these types of fora long before I returned to school.

Another ancestor, on my direct patriarchal line was border Welsh. My interests lie in the whole breadth and depth of the Celtic world from Hallstatt and La Tène to the present, however the University of Montana only has an Irish Studies program, so that has been my focus for the past 13 months.

My puppy is named after one of Fionn Mac Cumhaill's hounds. I'm still exploring, but when I figure out where on this board to ask about vocabulary, I will post about the words puppy, kilt and haggis, since I'm pretty sure what I have is incorrect.

As Bríd has pointed out, the accents were the most common "error". The rest was pretty clear and easy to understand.

My translations are usually GU (Ulster Irish), unless CO (Standard Orthography) is requested.

I believe Oisín on IGTF was a character. He left after a dispute with another member.
He was before my time but his reputation seceeded him.
