I have been doing some resaerch on the standard irish translation of "fear no one" and have run into some difficulty. I have found two translations, one is "eagla aon duine" and the second one is "ealga gan aon duine a". I could use some help on which one would be appropriate for my tattoo, since a couple of the words in irish could be mean several things. THANKS

Google trashlate? The first one means "fear (this is a noun, by the way) any person" and the second means "fear (a noun once again) without any person" (not sure what that stray "a" is doing there).

To kick things off:

Ná bíodh eagla ort roimh aon duine: Don't be afraid of any person

I'm thinking you might also be able to get by with:

Ná bíodh eagla ort roimh éinne (but I'm not certain of this one)

Or, if you want it short and sweet:

Ná bíodh eagla ort: Don't be afraid

Gan eagla: No fear

Thanks Redwolf, that was what I was afraid of. Unfortunately my family has had the Irish beaten right out of us, so there little knowledge base to correctly translate English to Irish. Yes google translater was one of my sources.
