O.k. so book number 1 (for children) is: 'Redwolf goes to Ireland', book number 2 (for the more mature audience) is: 'Redwolf goes to the pub'. Book number 3? I am thinking Redwolf has had a few too many and so her behaviour may not suit the wider reading audience especially if the book contains pictures........ But it might make for a YouTube sensation!

Ok edited i have spoken to me mother who is from that area on the busses and i was wrong on my earlier post . so i have edited below with the correct information.

Hi Red wolf Gleann cholm cille to gaoth dobhair is doable you will need to get the bus eireann bus from the gleann there is two of these a day full stop to donegal town and from there another bus to letterkenny . . From where the bus leaves you off there is where the gaobh dobhair bus goes from tho there may be a couple hours wait.

From glenn finn its a bit easier to get to letterkenny as it is just up the road (donegal speaking ) .

Also you wont be coming back the same day so I would get accommodation in gaoth dobhair BEFORE you go that time of year they wont have anything if you arrive on the doorstep so to speak.

Also if you are going to gaoth dobhair and can get a lift to neddies you wont be disapointed there and they will be more than happy to speak Irish to you as will most people in Gaoth doabhair.

And if your in the area and can get a lift head down to sharkeys bar in anagary and also jack's(caisleain oir ) but if you call it caisleain oir nobody will have a clue where your talking about

You could do Gleann Cholm Cille - Gaoth Dobhair in about 1 hour by car, otherwise there's only Bus Feda, based in Gaoth Dobhair, which runs a service between Gaoth Dobhair and Galway via Donegal Town and Letterkenny - about 2 hours. www.feda.ie/site. Check the Galway-Donegal timetables.
If you can manage to get there, a great Irish-speaking B&B to stay is "Teach Champbell", on the main drag exactly half-way between Derrybeg and Bunbeg (see bus timetables). The bus will drop you off/pick you up 15-20 seconds' walk from the house if you ask the driver or request it when booking. If you want a seisiún the well-known "Teach Hiúdaí Beag"(Hiúdaí Beag's) is 10 minutes' walk away. "Teach Sheáin Óig" ( Seán Óg's) is 30 secs' walk and "Óstán Radharc na Mara" (The Seaview) is a 5-minute-walk.
