Now there is a dialect war I hadn't foreseen....... :??:

A ChoimhinSF: Carb as duit? I hope you're from the south so you can present the best Donegal irish for:
Grits, Jowls, Catfish, hushpuppies, Okra, cornmeal, crowder peas, bar-b-cue, Shiner Beer, boiled peanuts, fried chicken,
biscuits and gravy, chicken fried steak, fried green tomatoes, black-eyed peas, etc. I've wondered about those things for
a long time.

Just made myself hungry.....so I need to go eat my dinner.

Rugadh agus tógadh mé i nDeisceart na Stát Aontaithe, ach tá mé i mo chónaí anois i San Francisco. I don' reck'n any them vittles 'll translate easily into Irish ('speshly chicken fried steak), but I do love me some of them, 'sep fer hog jowls and okra.
