hey there

"Dom ghrá Glaidiólas, lóchrann Lúnasa"
can anyone kindly tell me what's these phrase means, literally?
as far as i know,
Dom=for/to me, ghrá = love, Glaidiólas = gladiolus, lóchrann=light/lantern, Lúnasa =august
but i failed at understanding this as a phrase..
just wanna be sure i know exactly what i write, before i actually use them
thanks for all the advice so far

You're nearly right in your translation, except for "dom". You translated "dom" as the preposition "do"
for + mé meaning
me. In this phrase however, dom is "do"
for + mo
my,
for my.
Literally translated it means:
For my love Gladiolus, lantern of August
I have another suggestion,
Ar son mo ghrá Glaidiólas, lochrann lúnasaFor my love Gladiolus, lantern of AugustCian
