You have the right Cork pronunciation without a doubt, it's what The Irish of WestMuskerry, by Brian Ó Cuív has.
I don't know whether I got it in Kerry or if it's just a mistake, I'll check.

This is why it can be useful to post sound files. Mistake on my part, it has a "h" in Corca Dhuibhne as well. Thanks for pointing that out , I'll write uaithne from now on to drill that error out of my head. I went through The Irish of West Muskerry after you said this and found I was pronouncing around ten words incorrectly (I had a Caighdeán-style pronunciation of them), so this was very useful to me.

The "new" spelling can often lead learners astray if they're trying to learn how to speak with a Munster blas. The original spelling muinntear, for example, shows the actual pronunciation of the the word "muintir".

I'm glad that you mentioned "The Irish of West Muskerry". I almost never get to hear spoken Munster Irish, so your post reminded me that I really need to get a copy of that book.

My "specialty" is Connemara Irish, particularly Cois Fhairrge dialect, but I can also speak Ulster and Munster Irish with native-level pronunciation.
