Ill just add the ones I need as i come across them and dont find them elsewhere, my internet is too slow to load up thousands of words. often as well when I look more closely at words I cant find I realize im using a munster version so after a bit of dictionary checking I can find another version on Forvo.

I was wondering about Genatives and Datives of words should I request them? after all they are pronounced slightly differently?

We already have a genitive tag -
http://www.forvo.com/languages/ga/tag/genitive_case/

I think you will find that there are a lot more words in genitive added that haven't been tagged.

Munster and Donegal words are welcome. Unfortunately we don't have regular contributors for those.

They are indeed. They have been a bit inactive recently.

Ah I must have been typing my post at the same time :) didnt see the genitive case tag, will keep an eye out for it . What about Dative?

As you add words you can add "dative case" or "genitive case" to them if you like, but it's not essential.

As you all know I'm not good at grammar terms. So that's why there is no "dative case" tag already. :)

But don't worry about tags at all. They are mixed up across the different languages and impossible to keep tidy. It is not necessary to add a tag to a word. Most of the time it is better to leave it.

Also on adding things to Forvo, can I add something like B’éigean dó, or Bí ar d'fhaire !
since they are pronounced a bit differently that just the word alone?

I've been in a hostel in Manila for more than a week and it's too noisy here during the day and at night there's sleepers in the rooms or I'm asleep or sick due to food poisoning!

I'll send you the list if you want. I can't do any recordings (I tried here) at the moment

Bríd removed some because of the _s that I left in from the dictonary

Doesnt sound like the most fun holiday, I have an image of you being packed in to a large sweaty noise dorm, crawling back and forth from the toilet.

Sure send on the list, id love to see it. But dont expect me to do any recordings on Forvo. my pronunciation is very hit and miss. I recorded some questions for myself on my ipod, and the answers. My slender R's etc are allover the place. Strangely I seem to do them for some words in English with no problem and without realizing until I listened back to what I had recorded.

Bí ar d'fhaire - would be covered by idiom. You can add both.

At the moment I have a cough, and getting chesty, so no pronunciations for a while. But there's Breandán and Braoin.

It might make for a husky, sexy Bríd! Might attract a few more to the language!
