It might make for a husky, sexy Bríd! Might attract a few more to the language!

It is recommended that you always wait for three to agree on a translation.
I speak Connemara Irish, and my input will often reflect that.
I will do an mp3 file on request for short translations.

Can anyone identify the dialect of this speaker on Forvo ?

The accent sounds Munster to me, but I dont recognize some of the words and pronunciations he uses.

That's our Braoin and he has a Connemara accent - there is a fair bit of overlap with Munster and Connemara pronunciation anyway. ;)

My "specialty" is Connemara Irish, particularly Cois Fhairrge dialect, but I can also speak Ulster and Munster Irish with native-level pronunciation.

We are lucky to have him on board here and at Forvo.
He says himself on his profile that he's a West of Ireland speaker.

Well the West of Ireland could be anywhere really. When you leave Dublin for Limerick you follow the signs for "The West".

I must get back doing these. I lost interest in it all a few months after I got sick and my friend died of pig flu
