I'm trying to sort out how you name playing cards in Gàidhlig. First of all, does anyone know what traditional card games are played by Gaelic speakers in Scotland? The only historic one I've found is Maw, which is related to the Irish game Spoil Five or Twenty Five, but what do they play nowadays?

King - Righ (with a fada on the i)
Ban-righ (with a fada on the i)
- for a jack or knave it's quite confusing, as it could be either balach, pàm or munsaidh and pàm or pam can also mean the joker.
Ace - An t-aon - so the Ace of Spades is - Aon a Chridhich
Spades - Speur (genitive - Spéir)
Diamonds - Daoimean
but for Clubs again it's rather confusing - Dubh-bhileach, Crasg, Struth.
- and how would you say - two of.., three of...etc? (Apparently three in this context is - triamh)
