Dia duit

I am Japanese and I am Irish learner.
I would like you to translate the sentence below.

The sentence is used Apple TV advertisement in Japanese language in Japan.

I translated it into English but it is impossible for me to translate into Irish.

Thanks!!

"There are guys.
The guys who are called rebels.
The guys who look at things differently
Like driving a square peg in a round hole.
They ignore rules.
They never admit the status quo.

These are people, who touch their heart,
who object to them who raise them and who run them down with their words.
However nobody can ignore them
as they can change the world.
they advance the world.
They are called crazy but we think they are genius.
Only those people who believe they can change the world by themselves can change the world".

This is the original sentence in Japanese.

Hi, makoto and welcome.

I'd like to just tweak the English first, based on the Japanese:

"There are crazy people,
People who are called rebels, troublemakers.
People who look at things altogether differently
Like driving a square peg into a round hole.
They hate rules.
They never accept the status quo.

There are people whose hearts are touched by their words
and those who object and those who agree and those who put them down.
But nobody can ignore them
Because they have changed things.
They have advanced humanity.
They are called "crazy" but we think they are geniuses.
Because only those people who believe they can change the world by themselves go on to change the world".

Translators, please use the tweaked version, unless makoto has an objection.

Here's a first attempt:

Tá daoine craiceáilte ann,
"There are crazy people,"

Daoine ar thugtar ceannaircigh nó clampróirí orthu.
"People who are called rebels, troublemakers."

Daoine a bhreathnaíonn ar rudái go difriúil ar fad
"People who look at things completely differently"

mar a sháfaidís cuaille cearnach isteach i bpoll cruinn.
"Like driving a square peg into a round hole."

Is fuath leo rialacha.
"They hate rules."

Ní ghlacann siad le cúrsaí mar atá siad.
"They never accept the status quo."

Tá daoine ann a bhfuil a gcroí corraithe ag focal na ndaoine sin acu.
"There are people whose hearts are touched by their words."

Daoine atá ina gcoinne agus daoine a aontaíonn leo agus daoine á maslú.
"and those who object and those who agree and those who put them down."

Ach ní féidir iad a sheachaint
"But nobody can ignore them"

Mar tá cúrsaí athraithe acu.
"Because they have changed things."

Tá ardú an chine daonna déanta acu.
"They have advanced humanity."

Tugtar "creacáilte" orthu ach ceapaimidne gur daoine ardéirime iad.
"They are called 'crazy' but we think they are geniuses."

Mar gheall ar gurb iad na daoine a chreideann gur féidir leo an domhain a athrú leo féin féin a éireoidh é a dhéanamh.
"Because only those people who believe they can change the world by themselves go on to change the world"

This will definitely need revision and correction, so wait for further input ...

Here is the original Steve Jobs quote.

"Here's to the crazy ones, the misfits, the rebels, the troublemakers, the round pegs in the square holes ... the ones who see things differently -- they're not fond of rules, and they have no respect for the status quo. ... You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them, but the only thing you can't do is ignore them because they change things. ... They push the human race forward, and while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius, because the people who are crazy enough to think that they can change the world, are the ones who do."

Nice detective work, Sass. I should have realised the Japanese was a translation from English, not the other way around.

Translators, please ignore all previous English versions and use the one Sassy found for us.

Thanks very much for your quick translation and your time, Breandán. I really appreciate it

Irish is very interesting for me and the translation makes me study Irish harder now.

Thanks very much indeed, Sassy. I thought there must have a original quote.

I tried to look for it in the internet for a long long time but I could not find it at all
