It's Irish Central so it's all vague and 'Celticiy' and some such, but does anyone know much about the real monsters in it? I thought the Kelpie was Scottish

The Dullahan is legitimately Irish. However, they are less of a headless horsemen, and more of an Irish grim reaper.

They would all be in older Dinnseanchas and Fiannaíocht type tales.

Lots of this stuff in Máirtín Verling's books like Mioscais na gCumar.

The book I would recommend on this subject is 'A Field Guide to Irish Fairies' by Bob Curran (Appletree Press)
