Cambridge online dictionary says -
"to encourage someone to do something they do not want to do"

clamhsán - is to complain or grumble.
Especially but not exclusively when children do it.

tarraing suas do chuid stocaí.
Seas suas díreach.


I haven't heard that.
I think you might mean "ladar" (spoon).
It might be slightly rude to say that to somebody.

Go raibh maith agaibh - this is something I asked about a long time ago at the other place, so it was Fiairefeadha who gave me (among other phrases)- Árdaigh do stocaí, seas do díreach, ná bí ag cur do ladhar isteach (which is a bit like saying - don't stick your oar in, I suppose) though I would prefer to have a more polite way of saying.
I made one memorable gaffe for - take your elbows off the table - by posting:- bain do uilleanna as an bord!

How about, 'ná cur isteach orm'? I'm not totally sure if it fits the bill.

I have a vague memory of someone somewhere using - bris isteach or something like that to mean - to butt in.
Looking in the dictionary I've found the verb - trasnaigh (but apparently that can also mean to contradict) and téigh roimh, cuir isteach ar and bris isteach ar.
