Hello everybody! :hullo:

My name is Isabella, I am 24 years old and live in Augburg, which is in the south of Germany near Munic (where the famous German beer fest takes place).
I live here together with my little son Liam who was born in March. I love him dearly and I think the two of us are quite a good team.

When I was 18 I decided to come to Ireland as an Aupair for 12 months and I fell in love with the country. I returned to Cork every year and if I weren't so close with my mom and my family, I would have moved there immediately.

I basically joined the Irish Learners Forum because I needed a transaltion for a tattoo - and thanks to you all: I got answers very fast! But after all I also joined to learn a little about the Irish language (the english aswell - I'm not perfect), the culture, the feeling....and to be a little closer to my "real home": Ireland......well, sorry, that was cheesy!

Best regards!

Isabella

It is recommended that you always wait for three to agree on a translation.
I speak Connemara Irish, and my input will often reflect that.
I will do an mp3 file on request for short translations.

Welcome to the forum, Isabella.

Our first was going to be called Liam until we found out we were having a girl. Now she's called Aisling.
