hi you all.
ty for the translation!
i just want to know how you feel about kokoshneta's first translation? it seems to me to be the one that is closer to the original meaning. As it is the familly motto i would really like the tattoo to be as closer as possible to the original
ty again

I eventually worked it out from context, but I thought you were trying to sneak an expletive in there at first - or an alternative pronunciation of uaisle.

For "Virtue is the only Nobility" (from latin "Virtus Sola Nobilitas"), would anyone like to confirm one (or more) of the following?

Is í an suáilce an t-aon uaisleacht
Ní uaisleacht go suáilce
Ní huaisleacht go suáilce

The h on uaisleacht after is apparently optional (see above examples from GGnamBC) so we are calling for preferences.

Alternatively, has someone got a radical new idea that will blow us all away?
