I eventually worked it out from context, but I thought you were trying to sneak an expletive in there at first - or an alternative pronunciation of uaisle.


For "Virtue is the only Nobility" (from latin "Virtus Sola Nobilitas"), would anyone like to confirm one (or more) of the following?

Ní uaisleacht go suáilce
Ní huaisleacht go suáilce

The h on uaisleacht after ní is apparently optional (see above examples from GGnamBC) so we are calling for preferences.

Alternatively, has someone got a radical new idea that will blow us all away?
