dizzyness or ringing in the head (wingléacht dictionary)

In Conamara we would pronounce that like "meabhrán" and it can also mean confusion.

It is recommended that you always wait for three to agree on a translation.
I speak Connemara Irish, and my input will often reflect that.
I will do an mp3 file on request for short translations.

Thank you Thank you Bríd Mhór.

No sure of the pronounciation...

Would it sound like: "Me"-"O"-"Van"?
"Me" like Milk
"O" like... well O
"Van" like Vanity

Actually, I'm looking for the meaning of a word that would sound like this...

I think míobhán might sound like mee-uh-VAUN in Munster.

In Connemara it would sound more like MEE-uh-waun.

Meabhrán would be pronounced something like MEOW-ron in Connemara.
