And to throw another one on the pile, how about "níos mó"?

I'm not sure this is this correct - at the very least, I personally wouldn't used it in speech; I use "a thuilleadh". It could be right, though.

There's nothing wrong with "níos mó".

It is recommended that you always wait for three to agree on a translation.
I speak Connemara Irish, and my input will often reflect that.
I will do an mp3 file on request for short translations.

That's right but you can also say -

Ní dhéanadh mé é sin níos mó.
I won't do that from now on.

Sorry, Gumbi, forgot to mention that the editing functions have changed slightly under the new version. To avoid endless nested quotes you need to press Reply first and then you can quote posts or selections from posts from the list underneath.

I think this is at least partially dialectal. I’m not certain, but I think using níos mó in this way is extremely common (almost the only one used) in Ulster, is about as common as a thuilleadh and feasta in the ‘middle’, and it fairly uncommon in Munster.

Feasta seems to have the opposite distribution: very common in Munster, but I don’t think I’ve ever heard anyone use it in Ulster. Of course, in Ulster, it could very easily be mixed up with fosta, something that is not really possible in Munster (since they use freisin where Ulster uses fosta).

Always wait for at least three people to agree on a translation, especially if it’s for something permanent.

My translations are usually GU (Ulster Irish), unless CO (Standard Orthography) is requested.

As long as it's put down to dialect, that's me happy  Tells me I'm not completely clueless :darklaugh:
