I'm trying to do up notes on the copula as gaeilge.. I'm drawing out the table for personal pronouns used, which I found here -
http://www.nualeargais.ie/gnag/person.htm - what would you put for 'emphatic' as the heading? The ones De Bhaldy gives (fuinniúil, tréan, diongbháilte, údarásach) don't seem to fit. And would you use 'gnách' for 'normal'?
Also - 'copail' is pronounced how exactly? I know how to pronounce the slender 'l' now (thanks Breandán and Mick) but I sound like I'm saying 'capaill'? wordreference.com is a godsend for French and Spanish - it's a pity there's no equivalent for Gaeilge with the IPA transcriptions, much as I rely on focal.ie .
Thanks for any help in advance.
