Can someone please provide a translation of "Modesty Forbids" in Irish?
Thank you,

Ní ligfeadh (spelling) náire dom.

It is recommended that you always wait for three to agree on a translation.
I speak Connemara Irish, and my input will often reflect that.
I will do an mp3 file on request for short translations.

Just to add to what Bríd has said, ní ligfeadh náire dom means modesty forbids ME. If your referring to someone else, you need to replace dom with another word.

ní ligfeadh náire dúinn (modesty forbids us)
ní ligfeadh náire dó (modesty forbids him)
ní ligfeadh náire di (modesty forbids her)
ní ligfeadh náire dóibh (modesty forbids them)
