I live in the Pacific Northwest, which is the nickname of the north west corner of the United States, I was born and raised here. I am currently in college studying to be a certified Harley Davidson mechanic, no I don't own one yet my money is all being spent on schooling. From my understanding, once I have my degree and certificate in hand I will be bale to work at any official Harley Davidson dealership in any part of the world. So I am of course keeping the one in Waterford on my radar for after graduation.
With the last name O'Brien, I've always boasted my Irish heritage. As the story goes on my father's side, his Great-Grandfather traveled from Ireland to Canada, and then into the U.S. Family has been able to find proof of him entering Canada from Ireland, and proof of his children being born in the U.S. but no one has found any legal documentation proving his passage from Canada to the U.S. On my mother's side, heritage has been traced back to England and Ireland but that was many many generations back.
I'm in a local band that hasn't made it too far yet, as of this date we haven't played a single gig but we do have some recordings floating around on the net. All these recordings are done without drums, just guitar, bass guitar, & vocals. I play the bass guitar and provide vocals in some of our songs. Our genre would be classified somewhere under American Rock.
Now one may be asking themselves why all this information is necessary. I feel it is necessary to be open and honest with the people from whom you are asking help, especially if you want their answers to be genuine. With that having been said, feel free to ask me any questions. I will answer them to the best of my ability while still maintaining my personal safety (in America there are a lot of bad people that search the internet for anything they can get their hands on).

I am a beginner when it comes to the language. I would like to become fluent enough to site read, write, and one day sing Irish Gealic.

It is recommended that you always wait for three to agree on a translation.
I speak Connemara Irish, and my input will often reflect that.
I will do an mp3 file on request for short translations.

Whereabouts in the Pacific Northwest do you live, Jimmy? I grew up in Spokane, Washington, and still visit there every year.

Céad míle fáilte romhat!

I grew up on Puyallup's South Hill (the big fairgrounds are downtown), but I currently reside just north of Seattle.

You know you're from Washington when you know how to pronounce Puyallup! (and Sequim, and Yakima, and Spokane!)
