Thanks guys can i get a direct translation on what Braoin posted "Ní deireadh go tús." Does that work? I like the other saying alot but im not sure if "Ní hé an deireadh ach tús nua" will fit on my ribs
thanks
You wanted a translation of my post. The closest I can think of is:
Ní deireadh go tús = It is not an end until a beginning, i.e. there is no end until a beginning.
The use of 'go' here means 'until' or equivalent meaning.
I see lughaidh has translated it much better: "there's no end if there's no beginning". I find it strange to think of this in English

but it is nice to see it explained.
Since there may be some confusion regarding the meaning of the above, if you really need to clarify the idea of a '
new beginning' I could put it as:
Ní deireadh go tús eileThe other suggestions are more than grand; it is just that I was proposing a possibly shorter option.
