Cosc saoil :/ An bhfuil aon chiall in ao' chor acu ar an suíomh sin? Do tharfainn aistriúcháin, agus do chuirfinn nasc chun an tsuímh seo le haghiagh deimhnithe a fháil. B'fhollasach é go raibh mé ag iarraidh cabhair a thabhairt dóibh siúd ag lorg aistriúchán :/ Cé a bheidh ann anois le haghaidh aistriúcháin a dhéanamh?

I'm sorry, but to be honest, Gumbí, it's best this way. You can't see what they're doing at the site right now (for some reason I haven't been re-banned yet, so I can still log in), but they're turning keywords in every post to spam links now. For example, in my post here:

http://www.irishgaelictranslator.com/tr ... 98697.html

The words "include," "wedding," and "documents" are all now links to advertising sites.

In your signature over there, the word "confirmation" now also leads to an unrelated spam site.

Every registered user now also has a line of spam links between the body of the post and his or her signature as well.

You don't really want to be involved with those kind of people, surely?

If people don't get help there, they will seek out another place for help (if they truly want help) and they'll find us here.

BTW, Bríd received a permanent ban there this morning as well.

Yes, I suppose it is for the best. I suppose I just didn't like seeing people stranded, as the site still gets quite a bit of traffic.

I've got to say I'm delighted, Gumbi. It's good that you added the link to this site but the sooner there are no translators left over there the better. We all like to help people, of course, but I want those idiot owners to see the error of their ways sooner rather than later. That such a site would continue to enjoy any success at all after the way they treated those who were putting money in their pockets is just wrong.

Fáilte chuig an taobh dorcha, a Gumbi! Tá níos mó ón tír eile ag teacht ar ais le chéile anseo agus daoine nua freisin. Tá an suiomh seo ag éirí níos gnóthaí. Beidh mórán le déanamh agat anseo. :pages:

Begod but it's really going in a westerly direction altogether over there - and I don't mean siar go Conamara!!

It is so fortunate for us that this site was well established when it got particularly chaotic there or we would have been all over the place at this stage. We'd have split up and may never have made it back together.

So true Saoirse. Thanks to Breandán quick thinking.

Kinda cool to be in the banned club now. :D
It is not the same forum I joined over 3 years ago. I don't have any allegence to it anymore.
But I hate that they are getting away with lies about us.

It is recommended that you always wait for three to agree on a translation.
I speak Connemara Irish, and my input will often reflect that.
I will do an mp3 file on request for short translations.

Ná bí buartha faoi sin. Tá mise ag cur teachtaireacht príomheadeach do gach cuairteoir, le nasc an fóram seo.

D'aistrigh mé mo sig do abairt Seapáinise agus Gearmáinise agus Fraincise. Beidh cuairteoirí ábalta Google translate a úsáid leis sin má tá suim acu. Is dócha nach bfhuil na aistriucháin ceart, ach sa cás seo, is cuma!
