Looking for an Irish translator/advice. Thanks!

There's a good offer from Lughaidh already. I am also on the list. The question remains: How long is it and what is it about? The first part of the question is answered (1000 words), but it would be nice to get an idea of the content - and of the time allotted for the job.

It's 950 words, it's of a political nature, hence my reluctance at asking anyone on here to help me because I don't wish to cause anyone any offence.

I don't know that you'd cause offence. People may or may not wish to do the translation based on the subject matter, but really, it's better to be up front about it here and let those who may otherwise be interested in doing the translation think about it before they contact you directly.

OK, if anyone is interested in helping me, the piece I wish for to be translated is in relation to the political situation in the North, ie: there are references to the police, and the political structure in Stormont and so it does entail mentions of Nationalism and Republicanism.

If anyone can help, if you could let me know, that would be brilliant.

I wouldn't usually have to pay anyone, my ex fiancé used to do any translations for me but he got sick of me being sick, so yeah can't be asking him for anything. Perhaps you're right though, I shouldn't have asked anyone on here to do it for such a low price, didn't have much choice though. Again, I apologise if I've offended anyone.

You did not cause offence. Nobody had to offer to help you and several people did. You were polite and mannerly. You asked a question. People could choose to respond or not.

You ask whatever questions you want. People will respond whatever way they wish.
