I am looking for the correct translation of "We will live to fight another day." So far through my research I have found Beidh lá eile ag an bPaorac., Beidh lá eile ag an bPaor., and Mairfimid chun lá eile a throid. Just wondering if I am on the right track with any of these or if there is one clear/correct way of saying this? Thank you for any & all help!! :)

Beidh lá eile ag an bPaorach. (literally "Power will have another day!") is an idiomatic way to say "We will live to fight another day." :good:

Mairfimid chun lá eile a throid. is grammatically correct but very literal.

Beidh lá eile ag an bPaorach

Comes from the last words of a Dungarvan man (Edmund Power) before he was executed for his part in the 1798 rebellion.
