I think the second faoi is necessary, strictly speaking.

So which is more proper? The second Faoi?

You might be able to get avvay vvithout the second faoi, but it sounds much better vvith it.

Cúpla ceist:
- Shouldn't it be éist linn [agus muid] ag neartú ár ngealltanais rather than ár ngealltanas a neartú?
- VVould naofa be better than beannaithe? Or much of a muchness?
- Is neartú the most appropriate verb? Deimhniú?

I searched last night for a little bit on youtube and couldn't find this, I used "Irish vow of unity" and "Irish Vows" but couldn't find anything. I did find a song called Love Divine which sounds wonderful on bagpipes but couldn't find anything. Any other ideas on were to go to figure out how to say this?

If you want pronunciation, you should specify what part of Ireland you hail from. The dialects in Ireland differ quite a lot, and if you hail from, say, Dingle, it wouldn’t make much sense for you to be speaking this in a Belfast accent.

Quite a few people here can make you a recording of the text as spoken in various dialects, we just need to know which one to use.

Northern Irish is were I'm from, I kinda feel bad since I always was told Gaelic is Irish.
